Our goal is to develop MEGABASE, an online database builder that will allow users to create database systems without any programming knowledge. The objective of this application is to provide an easy way for small to medium-sized businesses and organizations to access and permanently store their data.

As companies grow, they need custom database applications to handle their business operations. Small to medium sized companies may not have the resources available to hire a team of developers to implement the type of system they need. Current solutions available such as Google Sheets and Knack place restrictions and caps on your data which can be costly and ineffective..

Our project will allow users to create database systems without any programming knowledge. Users can log in to our web application to define the structure of their database. Once they have their database setup they can access and manipulate their data through a Microsoft Excel plugin. The plugin will allow the user to sync their existing data or input new data through Excel. Our system will also provide an API which allows outside applications to connect to, read from, and write to the database.
